Sean Kingston Moved To ICU, Rescuer Speaks, Bieber Tweets

Singer Sean Kingston has been stabilized and was moved from the trauma center into the intensive care unit at a Miami hospital his publicist confirmed to various news outlets. Sunday (May 29), Kingston and a female passenger crashed his dark blue and white Sea Doo jet ski into the Palm Island Bridge at approximately 6 p.m. ET.

TMZ spoke to one of Kingston’s rescuers Jonathan Rivera. Rivera, who is a member of the Coast Guard but was boating on his day off, jumped into the water when he noticed Kingston, his female passenger and their empty jet ski. The passenger had her life vest on and complained of a headache, and Kingston was without his life vest as it appeared to have come off in the crash. He was “puking up blood out of his mouth” according to Rivera.

Jimmy Vega, who was with Rivera at the time noticed a gash under Kingston’s chin and also said that the singer was throwing up blood. It appears that the “Beautiful Girls” singer was conscious and responsive at the time. Rivera told TMZ that he assured Kingston that he was going to be okay and the pop star then repeated back, “I’m going to be okay.”

Justin Bieber took to Twitter earlier today to speak on his friend’s condition. “alot of you are asking about @seankingston - he is doing better but out of respect to his family I will wait for them to comment.....” Then he tweeted, “I will continue to pray and support my friend. #getwellsean”

Kingston’s publicist, Joseph Carozza, said the singer’s family is grateful for everyone’s prayers and support.

Lil Wayne Says New Single 'How To Love' Gives Him 'Goose Bumps' 'The song is gonna take me somewhere that I've never been musically,' Weezy says.

"

"The Block Is Hot," "Go DJ," "Fireman" and "Lollipop" — Lil Wayne has had a lot of singles, but none like his newly leaked "How to Love."

"I can tell you that I've never had a single like it, and it's an amazing song. It's an amazing song," Wayne told Sway when the two sat down after the taping of Wayne's upcoming MTV "Unplugged" special, which will air June 12 on MTV2.

"How to Love," which surfaced online on Thursday (May 26), is produced by Detail and features Weezy singing over an acoustic guitar and drum backdrop. On the song's hook, Wayne remains sincere and loving, singing to his main squeeze: "You had a lot of crooks try to still your heart, never really had luck, couldn't never figure out how to love." He continues to serenade the object of his affection, assuring her that she "deserves the best" and reminding her that she is beautiful.

For some time, members of the Cash Money camp have been hinting that a big Tha Carter IV single was on the way. In May, Young Money president Mack Maine told MTV News that an upcoming single from the album would have mass appeal, and on Thursday, he confirmed that "How to Love" is the song that YMCMB have been talking about.

"When I listen to it I get goose bumps," Weezy said. "And I feel like the song is gonna take me somewhere that I've never been musically."

Tunechi, who recently extended his I Am Still Music Tour through September, is looking to diversify his live show, and "How to Love" would help him do that. "You know that if you come to a Lil Wayne show two years from now, you already know that 'I'm gonna get rap — some of the best rap — I'm gonna get some guitar, I'm gonna get some singin', I'm gonna get some dancin', I'm gonna get some old-school music, and I'm goin' to a show tonight.' And I think that's where this song is directing me to."

For Birdman Jr., rap just isn't enough anymore. "I am a musician, and a few years back, I noticed that I wasn't just a rapper. And I noticed that I didn't want to do this just to rap," he said before clarifying his point. "I do want to go down as one of the greatest rappers of all time, but I also want to go down as one of the greatest musicians of all time.

"When you think about it, Tupac is just known as a great rapper; Biggie is just known as a great rapper, Jay-Z — just known as a great rapper," he continued. "I want to be known as that rapper that turned it all the way up and became the face of the music."

Actually, Wayne looks to epitomize the word one day. "When they make a billboard and put whoever they gonna put up there to define the word 'music,' I wanna be there.

Brad and Angelina Jolie To Marry?

The Hollywood couple who have six children, ages 2-9 together, have often said they are not interested in marrying for the sake of pleasing the media. However, people grow and Brad Pitt may be ready to change his mind and make his union with Angelina Jolie official. The catalyst could be the kids, who Pitt tells invalid link: http://www.usaweekend.com/article/20110527/ENTERTAINMENT01/105290313/Exclusive-Interview-Brad-Pitt-family-guy?odyssey=tab|topnews|text|FrontpageUSA Weekend, "ask about marriage. It's meaning more and more to them."

Being a father who is serious about his brood, Pitt shares how hard he and Jolie work to create order for their either-person family. “Angie and I do everything we can to carve out some semblance of normalcy for them, to re-create the kinds of moments that were special for us. It's not unusual for the kids to be covered in paint. We have mud fights,” says the 47-year-old sexy actor, who is currently starring in the 1950s drama Tree of Life alongside Sean Penn.

While it's hard to imagine the sexiest couple in the world having a normal family life, maybe once they tie the knot, the media will leave them alone. Or maybe that’s just crazy talk.

P-Square Robbed @ Gunpoint

Paul Okoye, a member of Nigerian music duo P-Square, according to reports, was attacked by armed robbers on Wednesday evening.

The musician, according to Nigeriafilms.com, was on his way to meet a couple of friends at the Victoria Island when he was attacked.

Sources said Paul, who was driving his new BMW X6, stopped to assist accident victims on the way and as he returned to his car after the rescue, he was approached by two armed men who demanded all his valuables.

Paul narrated that 'I was about leaving when these two guys surfaced from nowhere and demanded everything I had on me at gun point.'

He added, 'They actually succeeded in taking my phones, money, jewellery and other valuables, but just as they were about collecting my car key, one woman who had noticed what was happening screamed and alerted people at the accident scene. And that was when the gunmen ran away.'

The gunmen, according to Paul, 'said they were not going to beat or shoot me, but warned that I must cooperate with them. It was so funny because they said what they wanted was their own share from P Square's 'largesse'.'

The star however was very grateful that nothing untoward happened to him. 'I just thank God that they didn't hurt me,' he told

It is not common for the general public to have access to the mobile phone number of a celebrity but the phone number of actress Yvonne Nelson is now in the public domain and NEWS-ONE has gathered she is having sleepless nights.

When news broke that Yvonne Nelson had launched a one stop fashion and hair products boutique, many of her fans took it for a joke until it was confirmed that the actress is personally receiving phone calls from persons who want to place orders.

It is not clear how her phone number got leaked but NEWS-ONE has gathered that her 0240595959 number has not stopped ringing since last Friday and the callers just want to place orders from her boutique.

Already, a number of fellow actresses have passed through to check out how their sister was faring.

NEWS-ONE reported last Friday that Yvonne had opened a designer boutique called YN's Closet and had stocked it with a wide range of unisex designer clothes.

YN's Closet was her reason for traveling from Dubai to Europe to get good stuff for her clientele. For the past few weeks, she has been on twelve flights, just making sure that she got the right stuff.

Most of her designer clothes are from France, Italy and Dubai. There are also designer rings which she said are selling at affordable prizes.

The ultra-modern fashion shop is located at Dansoman, Sahara (Manorvia).

'I decided to do this shop because a lot of people appreciate my sense of fashion. They love the way I dress and they are always commenting on my facebook, so I decided to do something little for all people who love me and what I wear.'

Her YN Hairline introduces lace wig and human hair collections for Ghana's market. The wig is very new in Ghana. When ladies put it on, it looks like one's natural hair. It is easy to wear and very comfortable.

Yvonne's slogan is ' Being In The Spotlight' , and she is sure her clients will stand out among their peers when they use lace wig. It comes in different packages and there are about six different types.

Yvonne is gradually building a huge business empire for herself. She will not speak about it but there is another business venture in her plans. Currently, she drives a brand new white Touareg valued at $72,000.

Sean Kingston stabilized after jet ski crash

Sean Kingston and a woman were taken to a hospital Sunday (May 29) night, after the Jet Ski they were riding crashed into a bridge in Miami.

Kingston, 21, and his friend were thrown from the watercraft at around 6PM when it hit Miami's Palm Island Bridge. "A good Samaritan tended to the two of them until Miami Beach Fire Rescue arrived and saw there were injuries," Jorge Pino, a spokesman for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission, told People. The 'Beautiful Girls' singer and the woman were taken to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Alcohol does not seem to have played a role in the crash.

Monday morning a statement from his publicist read: "Sean Kingston is now stabilized and has moved from the trauma unit to ICU. Sean's family thanks everyone for their prayers and support during this time."

Kingston is best known for melding reggae with R&B on his 2007 hit 'Beautiful Girls.' He released his second studio album 'Tomorrow' in 2009 and was working on its follow-up for release later this year. A collaboration with Justin Bieber, titled 'Eenie Meenie,' surfaced last year and was rumored to be off the forthcoming effort.

"Got my friend @seankingston in my prayers tonight. A true friend and big bro," Bieber tweeted Sunday night. "Please keep him in your prayers tonight as well."

I’m Very Hot In Bed

A Kumasi-based actor, Joseph Osei, popularly known as Wayoosi, has thrown a challenge to anyone who doubts his prowess in bed to offer him a good sexy lady to prove his sexual prowess.

He boasted that he knew all kinds of sexual styles in bed which could make any girl moan for more sexual rounds.

Joseph Osei, who made the disclosure in an exclusive interview with NEWS-ONE at his Buokrom residence in Kumasi, disclosed that several women from all over Ghana literally begged him to have sex with them because he was exceptionally superb in bed.

According to Wayoosi, some women who wanted him to have sex with them pretended to enter platonic relationships with him but later started to make erotic advances towards him. He said this had made him very choosy when it came to women he befriended.

He hinted, “Sometimes the women would call and tell me that they want to be just a friend, but would later worry you with sexual demands”, adding that “if I am a womanizer, I will be like the drone in the bee family.”

'Ban foreign music in Ghana'

Top Ghanaian musician Ekow Micah is advocating the ban of foreign music being played on Ghana’s airwaves.

This is because he thinks foreign music is one of the major contributors to why most Ghanaian musicians are poor.

Ekow made the claim on Wednesday at the launching of the first ever Music Council of Ghana (MCG) at Ramada Resort, Coco Beach in Accra.

The MCG was founded to advance the interest of stakeholders in the country’s music industry. It is also to galvanise musicians’ contributions to the development of the country, whilst bringing unity, accountability and improving the lives of musicians.

Ekow is the president, with top musician Akosua Adjapong being the vice president. “Foreign music on radio must be banned because Ghana must benefit Ghanaians,” told NEWS-ONE an exclusive interview after the ceremony.

The council was founded by some bona-fide members of the Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) and some Ghanaian citizens. The rest of the members include Nana Ampadu, Reverend Daniel Asamoah-Larbi, Akosua Afum Gyan, Francisca Bannerman, Bernard Attigah, Linda Brefo and Amarh Pino.

Ekow said the primary aim of the council was to seek the interest of every musician and how the country could also benefit from the music industry. The council, he said, would petition government on various issues affecting stakeholders for support. “We can’t do everything alone and so we will meet other stakeholders in the industry, see their interest and get competent people on board and hit the ground running.”

The council, he said, would make sure “people who are heading the industry account for whatever they are doing for the poor musicians. These are some of the things that we will write our petitions on to His Excellency the president”.

Ekow said if government failed to listen to the council, it would be forced to organize musicians to hit the streets to demonstrate for their rights. But that, he added, would be the last resort. However, he said government had given its assurance to listen to the council.

Present at the ceremony was Hon. Alexander Asum-Ahensah, Minister of Chieftaincy and Cultural who represented President Mills.

He said, “Music is a potential revenue earner with many job creation opportunities but because of lack of focus and effective structures to enhance the development and promotion of our music, coupled with a divided front, potential investors with the ability to drive the industry are also shying away.”

Promising government support, he said, “It is therefore very crucial that our musicians close their ranks and work in the unity to address the challenges facing the industry, notably piracy as well as payment of royalties to owners and composers to bring sanity into the industry to attract investors.”

Actress Juliet Ibrahim: Are You The Next Porn Girl On The Block?

It is increasingly becoming disgusting and the acting profession in Ghana will be far from a reputable one if this continues. I blame the movie “ Heart Of Men” for all this nonsense. The sex scenes in Heart Of Men received a lot of criticisms and bad publicity. But then, publicity is publicity, either good or bad.

The success in Heart Of Men as a result of the curiosity of many individuals to see for themselves all the indecency that the media was carping the movie for, lead to the birth of another movie “Kiss Me If You Can”. Though the movie was a masterpiece in other aspects, the producer and marketers collected the various sex scenes for their trailer, just to seek media attention.

In all the above movies, Martha Ankomah showed off her boobs and black ass without giving a F**K, all in the name of acting and hoping to be the next best African actress.(In your dreams Martha, maybe the next African Porn Star). I wonder what our Nollywood folks think of us now. Is it that we cannot achieve success without selling our bodies, showing our boobs and others or what?

Various actresses like Genevieve Nnaji, Akorfa and even Jackie Appiah have gained the attention they fancy without having to show off their boobs or indulge in some “bush’ sex scenes in a movie.

As for Martha Ankomah and her indecent exposures in movies, GhanaCelebrities.Com has already crowned her the Dumbass Queen Of African Movies.

Now, Juliet Ibrahim could be the next Dumbass Queen. Have a look at the photos of Juliet below and check out the video. This is a new moving hitting our screens soon. It is called 4play. Please Juliet, this will not in anyway make you a better actress. It shows how desperate you are as an actress.

Big Brother Amplified: Confidence survives another eviction

Confidence Haugen, one of Ghana's representatives in the Big Brother Africa (Amplified) reality show has survived another eviction.

This is the second time in three weeks that the Ghanaian housemate has been nominated and survived eviction. She was up for eviction together with Michael, Sharon O, Vina and Bernadina.

Sunday's eviction was as usual another exciting show full of nervy moments and drama.

As usual, the Head of House, Vimbai was called upon by host of the show, IK, to formally announce who she was saving and who she is putting in place of the one she was saving.

She boldly disclosed that she was saving Hanni and replacing her with the “dishonest” housemate, Michael.

Bernadina was asked to leave the house. She appeared on stage and by virtue of the fact that, she had the second least number of votes, she was sent into the Tails house.

Of the rest of the nominees, Michael from Mozambique was the next to be asked to appear on stage and was told officially that he has been evicted from the show thus becoming the forth housemate to be evicted from the show.

Michael on stage after the eviction

Asked by IK what he will miss most, “I will miss everybody, I will miss the boys...especially Sharon O and Confidence,” was his answer.

This week's votes saw Vina and Sharon O obtaining the highest number of votes. 6 country votes each.

Vena had votes from Angola, Ethiopia, Botswana, Nigeria, South Africa and the rest of Africa (constituting 27.8 percent of the votes).

Sharon O on the other hand had votes from Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe (constituting 22.7 percent of the votes).

Confidence, Bernadina and Michael had one country vote each. Confidence got one vote from Ghana (19.7 percent of the votes), Bernadina, one vote from Namibia, (17.3 percent) and Michael, one vote from Mozambique (12.6 percent of the total votes).

Big Brother once again adopted the tie-breaking mechanism by using percentage basis to determine who gets evicted.

The Tails will take their turn Monday to nominate housemates for possible eviction.

Ohemaa Mercy fires at Christians that they are lazy

Last week Saturday (21st May, 2011) marks exactly one week, the flabbergasted 89-year-old christen radio station owner and preacher Harold Camping predicted that apocalypse was going to take place on earth.

Ohemaa laughed about it when Ghana Music.com asked her what she had to say about the dooms day. “Hahahahaha, I learnt lots of people went to all night last week Friday. Christians are lazy and will not read and follow anything at all”, she said.

Ohemaa mercy continued by saying that “if they do, how will they believe things like this. But my word for Christians, is that they should read the bible and seek Gods understanding into the things said in the bible.

Ohemaa Mercy is adding her voice by telling us what her ministry and foundation has set as it’s vision. “I believe very much in the second coming of Christ but I also believe that Jesus is coming for a glorious church but the church is not yet glorious because of the wrong teachings going around”.

“But I believe with time God is raising. I want to change the mindset of Christians who believe that they should be poor before they can attain the kingdom of God.

Ohemaa also wanted to use Ghana Music.com’s platform to inspire Christians that God hears each and everyone’s prayers and that people who go for prayers from Men of God are just lazy people and will always be deceived.

Ohemaa Mercy further revealed to us that she will be doing evangelism in some selected villages soon to draw more people to God’s kingdom as she gets ready to drop her fourth album.
